Event Description

"Join the LSO for this special concert, featuring a palette of musical colors for your enjoyment, as well as an art exhibition and reception by the Littleton Fine Arts Guild. This performance opens with Felix Mendelssohn’s 'Hebrides Overture', describing his visit to Fingal’s Cave in Scotland, followed by 'The Bamboula' by Samual Coleridge-Taylor, which represents both a goatskin drum and an African dance of slaves in Haiti. We will close with Modest Mussorgsky’s 'Pictures at an Exhibition'. Don’t miss this feast for the ears and the eyes! With Associate Conductor Héctor Jardón."
