Mikhail Voskresensky commands an international reputation as a pianist in the great Romantic tradition. He is a prize winner of four international piano competitions, including Van Cliburn). He was a distinguished professor at the Moscow Conservatory and chair of the professorship of piano faculty before departing Russia with his wife and child after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
