Playground Ensemble: Playground Joins Bandaloop

"Bandaloop is an Oakland-based vertical dance performance group that uses climbing technology combined with dance to expand and challenge what is possible. The Playground will join Bandaloop as they turn the facade of DU’s Richie Center into a giant loom for LOOM:FIELD, a large-scale, site-specific outdoor vertical dance piece that unites vertical dance, spoken word, fabric manipulation, and original music to challenge our perspective on the art and industry of textiles. This performance is the centerpiece of Newman Center’s 20th anniversary celebration, which features an afternoon of food trucks, drinks, and an interactive loom demonstration from Fancy Tiger Crafts."
