Event Description

"ASTER Women's Chamber Choir features the premiere of 'Native Prayers' by Colorado composer Martha Yordy. The centerpiece of the concert will be a cantata composed by Broomfield composer Pete Simpson. This beautiful work is a tribute to Sacagawea's struggles, growth and accomplishments. Vickie Leigh Krudwig will share her journey as a visual artist inspired by stories of the Ute, Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapahoe tribes. The concert will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person."
