The Shepherd School of Music at Rice: The Emperor of Atlantis (in 3D)

The Shepherd School Opera and Chamber Orchestra present two upcoming virtual showings of Der Kaiser von Atlantis. Unlike any other production, the performances use a green screen and a process known as Chromadepth to transfer images into true stereo 3D.

To view this production in Chromadepth, prism 3D glasses will enhance the performance. Audience members must register prior to Friday, October 23, 2020 in order to receive complimentary 3D glasses via mail from the Shepherd School of Music.

Audience members will also be able to watch this dynamic production without the glasses.

WARNING: Chromadepth effects viewed through the prism 3D glasses may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
