
For many Coloradans, a traditional 4-year degree isn't an affordable or feasible option. Community colleges and other technical schools can help fill a gap to create new career opportunities. That's as about half of high school students in Colorado are deciding not to pursue college at all.
You'll hear from Emanuel Waler, a first-generation graduate of Community College of Denver, as well as Tina Garcia, the school's vice president of student services. And Randy Johnson, executive director of the Emily Griffith Technical College, shares his perspective.
