“Where Did We Sit On The Bus,” a one-person play running through June 2, 2024 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, has been described as a “theatrical mixtape” and “an immigrant story with themes both timely and poignant.” Lead actress Satya Chavez says the original music she produced and performs is the soundtrack to a timely and poignant American story.

A new play that immerses the audience in elaborate, layered soundscapes at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts asks the question, "Where Did We Sit on the Bus?" for Latino Americans during a time of segregation. Actress Satya Chavez joins us along with Ramon Del Castillo, a retired professor of Chicana Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Then, how Boulder is marking the 50th anniversary of "Los Seis de Boulder."
