A longtime dream of two Denver book lovers is taking shape at an old ranch near Fairplay. It’s the Rocky Mountain Land Library, where Jeff Lee and Ann Martin plan to house some of the 35,000 books they’ve collected about nature and the West. They’ve already begun holding classes and workshops on the property but now, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, they have the funds to start renovating one of the ranch buildings. It’s the first step in an ambitious plan to create what Lee and Martin like to call a “literary home on the range.” Martin and Lee spoke with Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.
