The first drug to treat Cystic Fibrosis - the disease itself, not just its symptoms - is reaching patients. One of the key doctors who developed the drug is Dr. Frank Accurso of Children’s Hospital Colorado. He says this drug, Kalydeco, is life-changing for his patients and works in a day or two. For now, it can help only about four percent of people with CF. The hope is one day, it’ll work for many others. Dr. Accurso speaks with Ryan Warner.
