On Saturday night, the Colorado Symphony’s new artistic advisor, Andrew Litton, will take the podium. He’ll lead the orchestra in a performance of Hansel and Gretel, by the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck. It will be Litton’s first appearance at Boettcher Concert Hall since the CSO named him artistic advisor last June. Litton has promised bigger and better things for the orchestra, which was on the verge of financial collapse just two years ago. He talks to Ryan Warner.
