When he was growing up, artist Jeff Gipe wasn't entirely sure what his dad did for a living. His workplace was shrouded in secrecy. Years later, Gipe went on to make a piece of art -- dedicated to workers like his father. "Cold War Horse" sits near the site of what used to be The Rocky Flats nuclear weapons facility. It's now a wildlife refuge that, critics fear, is still contaminated. Today, Jeff Gipe is finishing up a documentary on Colorado's Cold War history called "Half-Life of Memory."
