Hundreds of thousands of Coloradans care for their aging parents at home. That care is essential to helping them age at home, rather than, say, in nursing care. But the number of people available to provide home care -- including family members -- is in decline, according to AARP. The issue has particular importance in Colorado, which has one of the fastest growing populations of people over 65 in the nation.
Susan Reinhard, a registered nurse who heads AARP's Public Policy Institute, spoke with Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.
