Big Gigantic is a band that lives up to its name. The Boulder duo of Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken makes enormous electronic music that features live saxophone and drums. They recruited notable rappers like Logic and Waka Flocka Flame to perform on their latest album, "Brighter Future."
The band has played virtually every major music festival in the U.S. and shared the stage with acts like funk legend George Clinton and Michigan producer Griz. But it also runs its own festival called Rowdytown, which returns this weekend to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for its sixth year.
Lalli and Salken spoke with Ryan Warner about developing their signature sound, how they curate their annual festival and their charity work with the Denver non-profit Youth On Record. Hear the interview via the link above.
