Boulder-based Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corporation is in the news these days. One of its most recent projects, the Kepler telescope, got turned on a few months ago and it's spotting planets nobody’d ever seen before. Kepler is just of the instruments Ball has built to explore space since it was founded in 1956. Science writer Todd Neff wrote a history of the company called “From Jars to Stars” The book recently was short-listed for the American Astronautical Society’s Eugene Emme literature award. Neff speaks with Pat Mack.
