Colorado's state legislature is three weeks into the new session and things at the Capitol are starting to get back to normal, which is to say insanely busy. In the past week lawmakers have tackled civil unions, in-state tuition for undocumented immigrant students, and organizing powers for firefighters, among other measures.
CPR reporter Megan Verlee joins Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner for our regular check in on what's new in state politics.
Bills mentioned in this week's segment:
SB-011 - Colorado Civil Union Act
SB-033 - In-State Classification CO High School Completion
