The kidnapping of a Colorado Springs doctor last December in Afghanistan made headlines around the world. At the time of his abduction, Dr. Dilip Joseph was on his way back to Kabul after training local medical personnel. He was with two Afghan aid workers on a windy, mountainous road when armed Taliban soldiers stopped their car and took them. The captives were driven to a remote area, forced to walk for miles through the night, and then spent several days in captivity. Dr. Joseph works for the Colorado Springs-based nonprofit Morning Star Development. He spoke with Ryan Warner about the abduction and his rescue by Navy SEALS.
