At the age of 64, Bob Biber is following the road not taken. More than 40 years ago, he was a promising young pianist studying music at the University of Colorado. But his physician father wanted him to go to medical school, and after his junior year, Biber complied. He gave up the piano, became a doctor, and moved to Kansas City, where he and his wife raised four daughters. Now retired, Biber has moved back to Colorado and re-dedicated himself to the piano. Next week he'll play at the Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition in Texas. Biber spoke with Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.
