Over the next decade, the Department of Defense plans to cut $900 billion from its budget and the Army will shrink to its smallest size in decades. The Pentagon is still debating which military bases will be the most affected by the cuts, but cities with big military installations -- and the people who work there -- are bracing for potential changes.
In the Colorado Springs area, there are five military installations and the city is working hard convince Washington that bases and posts should be spared.
