Nine newly built public schools in the state have structural problems. Some are so serious officials fear collapse, and have closed the schools. The buildings were all designed and built by one firm, Neenan Co., of Ft Collins, which specializes in school construction. This all came to light after a Denver Post investigation led by reporter Eric Gorski. He tells CPR's Ryan Warner that while Neenan has taken responsibility, these failures cast doubt on the state's oversight of school construction.
