Maes has never run for political office but he edged out former Congressman Scott McInnis at the Republican state assembly -- partly due to Tea Party support. Since then, both Maes and McInnis have had to deal with big campaign controversies. Maes was fined for campaign finance violations and McInnis faces allegations of plagiarism. Some in the party fear neither candidate can win in November...and have asked them to bow out. But that's not happening. McInnis joins us tomorrow...Today, Dan Maes.
