Hospitalizations for Coloradans with COVID-19 are the highest they've been in nearly a year, although still well below December's peak, Most of those hospitalized are unvaccinated. But there's good news too: case numbers overall are going down. We get an update on where things stand, along with the latest on boosters and flu shots, from two doctors on the frontline of the pandemic. Dr. Ken Lyn-Kew is a pulmonary and critical care physician in Denver and associate professor of medicine at National Jewish Health. Dr. Abbey Lara is associate professor at the CU School of Medicine and is a pulmonary and critical care physician at the University of Colorado Hospital.
