Shortly after last week’s movie theater shooting in Aurora, we started to hear about guns the suspect had. Aurora’s police chief gave reporters a rundown of the weapons and the ammunition. He used words like “caliber,” “12 gauge,” and “rounds of 223.” Those terms may be perfectly clear to people who own guns, but they may just wash over folks who don’t. And that’s most Americans, and somewhere around 65 percent of Coloradans. Joining us is Matt Mueller. He’s a firearms instructor who also works at a metro Denver gun club, and he run through the terminology with Ryan Warner.
