History Colorado will bring new focus and energy to women's leadership and roles in the state when the Center for Colorado Women’s History at Byers-Evans House Museum opens Wednesday. Director Jillian Allison tells Colorado Matters it will highlight the achievements of women from all walks of life, whether they fought to get the vote in the 1800s, helped put Mesa Verde National Park on the map, climbed mountains, made art, led businesses or were housekeepers.
