In the past three years, Denver's Barry Curtiss-Lusher has met President Obama, Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama -- just to name a few. He's done that in his role as the volunteer national chairman of the Anti-Defamation League, a nonprofit that fights anti-Semitism and bigotry. As his term comes to a close, about 300 Jewish leaders from around the country will converge Thursday in Denver to honor him and his wife, Gay.

Curtiss-Lusher, who is also a former Colorado Public Radio chair, spoke with Ryan Warner.
