The issue of water in the west has all those elements, says former US Senator from Colorado, Gary Hart. His new novel is called “Durango” and it’s set at a time when southwest Colorado is bitterly divided over the Animas-La Plata dam and reservoir project, which after decades of debate, was finished last year. Senator Hart sat down with host Ryan Warner.
