In November, Colorado voters will decide whether to legalize marijuana outright in this state. Backers of Amendment 64 think pot should be regulated like alcohol. For now, state law only allows people with certain medical conditions to have the drug. Medical marijuana is the subject of a new book from Fort Collins author Greg Campbell. It’s called “Pot, Inc. Inside Medical Marijuana, America’s Most Outlaw Industry.” For a previous book, Campbell investigated the trade of blood diamonds, which took him to Sierra Leone. For this one, he got stay close to home -- as close as his own basement, in fact, where he learned to grow marijuana -- but only after asking his wife and son, of course.
