Denver filmmaker Lori Kay Allred remembers the day her mother couldn't remember her. It was part of the painful decline of Alzheimer's. She has made a short film about it, which was picked up by ShortsTV, the short film channel.

To put her experience in context, Ryan Warner also speaks with Amelia Schafer from the Colorado chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. She says the number of Coloradans living with Alzheimer's will grow by more than a third in the next decade.
