During a recent State of the Union address, President Obama said beating cancer is the nation's latest "moonshot."
"For the loved one's we've all lost, for the families that we can still save, let's make America the country that cures cancer once and for all," he said.
The effort is being led by Vice President Biden, but not just him. CPR News invited some top researchers to gauge the search for a cure in Colorado.
Tin Tin Su, a University of Colorado Boulder professor of molecular, cellular and developmental biology and co-founder of the Boulder startup, SuviCa, Inc.
