Interview produced by David Hill
A new government has been slow to form in Iraq. But it’s beginning to look like the current prime minister Nouri al-Maliki will keep his job. This is yet another step in the ongoing struggle to achieve political stability in Iraq. Christopher Hill knows this struggle well. He’s the former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq. He finished his service just before the U.S. ended combat operations in Iraq. Now, Hill is the dean of the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies. He joined us as part of our ongoing series Iraq War Stories.
