Listen Now

The story of the Dashwood sisters and their turbulent romances is now set to music. “Sense and Sensibility The Musical,” based on the Jane Austen novel, opened this week at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The show features a cast of Broadway veterans and newcomers. It got a test run last year, during the Colorado New Play Summit, and was a hit. Marcia Milgrom Dodge is the musical’s director and choreographer. Her recent Broadway revival of Ragtime got six Tony Award nominations. She spoke to CPR’s Andrea Dukakis.
