Denver Artist Koko Bayer Hope Hearts
Ryan Warner / CPR News
Denver artist Koko Bayer created hearts that say “hope” and “esperanza” that are pasted on boarded-up storefronts and windows of struggling businesses.

Giant, colorful hearts continue to pop up along the Front Range including a 12-foot tall one on the side of Denver Health. Words like "hope," "esperanza," and "love" are emblazoned across these hearts. They are the work of Denver artist Koko Bayer. She says no project she’s done has taken off like #ProjectSpreadHope. We first spoke in February.

Her work is also on display at Sally Centigrade, an art gallery in Lakewood. The exhibition is called, "I hope this show finds you well."
