The celebrated British sculptor Henry Moore once said he’d rather see his art displayed in a landscape-- "almost any landscape,” he added—than inside a beautiful building. Well-- through early next year-- folks in Denver have a chance to see a number of Moore’s sculptures in just the kind of setting he preferred: the Denver Botanic Gardens. It's the first major outdoor exhibition of Moore’s work in the western United States. Curator Anita Feldman spoke to Ryan Warner back in February-- when the show first opened.
