The commission charged with drawing new maps for every state house and senate district has finished its work.The new maps were designed to make about a third of the districts competitive. That surprising result came from the chair of the commission, who was something of a wild card in the process. Both parties try hard to draw boundaries that will favor their candidates and increase their odds of having a majority in the legislature. Denver Post political reporter Lynn Bartels talks with CPR's Ryan Warner about the once-every-decade process.
