Most Americans highly value and celebrate the civil rights movement, according to a new survey by More In Common, a non-profit that fights polarization in western democracies. Research Director Stephen Hawkins, of Englewood, says these findings fly in the face of perceptions many Americans have of each other. He also explores the concept of "false polarization," and who benefits from division.
