Figure skater Peggy Fleming Jenkins  joins us today. She twirled and leaped her way into Americans' hearts in 1968 when she took home the only U.S. gold from the Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France. She's been on a Wheaties box. Colorado Springs threw a parade for her. And she now calls Denver home.

Ahead of the winter Olympics in South Korea, we spoke with her about how figure skating has changed. In her competitive days, for example, school figures were required, in which you had to perform specific patterns on the ice. But over the years those requirements were dropped in favor of programs that include spins and leaps.
