In our Monday series, Redefining Life in the Bad Economy, we meet electrical engineer Duane Bartley, who lives in Watkins, east of Denver. Bartley just got a new job after more than a year of unemployment and a family bankruptcy. As you'll hear, it was a frightening time. But Bartley says the family took some valuable -- and lasting -- lessons from the crisis. Bartley spoke to CPR's Sarah Hughes.
