We learned a previous guest -- who was battling colon cancer – passed away. Kacie Peters died Wednesday. Part of what made her story remarkable is that, not long after her diagnosis, her husband, Erik Stanley, also learned he had colon cancer. In light of Kacie’s death, we listen back to our March interview with the couple. The conversation also includes Dr. Christopher Lieu, of the University of Colorado Cancer Center.
