Dr. James Hill and Dr. Holly Wyatt have had a taste of Hollywood lately.
They’re at the Wellness Center at CU’s Anschutz Medical campus and they’ve been overseeing the upcoming season of ABC’s show "Extreme Weight Loss," which was filmed in Colorado. ABC says it chose Colorado in part because it’s one of the fittest states in the nation.
The two physicians have been researching weight loss for more than two decades. They're also the authors of a new book "State of Slim." They say the Colorado lifestyle offers a good example for people trying to lose weight.
Hill and Wyatt spoke with CPR’s Andrea Dukakis about their book.
