Any day now, the U.S. Supreme Court will rule in two historic cases that have to do with gay marriage. One tests the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA. The other seeks to overturn Prop 8, California’s ban on gay marriage. The rulings could have a real impact in Colorado, which we’ll talk about with Susannah Pollvogt, a lecturer at the University of Denver. Pollvogt specializes in equal protection law.
