Renewable energy has been a hallmark of Governor Bill Ritter's administration and today lawmakers are scheduled to vote on a key piece of his legislative agenda. Governor Ritter already testified on the bill, which would require utility companies to get roughly a third of their energy from renewable sources such as wind and solar.
