Capitol Dome Fundraising Clears Hurdle

Lawmakers at the state house could be headed for a showdown on how to pay for repairs to the dome on the capitol building. But this time, the division won't fall along party lines, but between the two chambers. The house state affairs committee unanimously passed a bill yesterday to raise private funds to repair the dome, but an alternate proposal in the senate gets its first hearing on Thursday. Bente Birkeland has more from Denver.
