The Medano Fire continues to burn in and around the Great Sand Dunes National Park about 25 miles northeast of Alamosa.Now a second major fire is burning in southcentral Colorado. Yesterday afternoon a blaze erupted about 14 miles east of Canon City causing evacuations of homes and businesses in the area. KRCC's Shanna Lewis filed this report on the two fires.
