Community Clinics Win Big in Health Reform

Community clinics are just regular health clinics, with one important caveat: they serve whoever comes through the door, insured, uninsured or just flat broke. Patients pay on a sliding scale pegged to income. The federal government has been sending them money to help since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House, and they continue to receive strong bi-partisan support. Colorado Public Radio Health Reporter Eric Whitney looks at what federal health reform means for them here.
