Redistricting Overview

Colorado lawmakers are trying to make history this session by creating a bi-partisan map for new U. S. congressional districts. The legislature is charged with re-drawing congressional districts after the latest census, but it hasn't worked so well in the past. The courts have been forced to step in and decide the issue, because lawmakers couldn't agree on congressional lines. And some worry that a recently introduced Republican bill could derail the process again this year. Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
