As anti-Wall street protests continue around the country and around Colorado, Occupy Denver demonstrators are holding their ground, even after police removed tents and structures in a park in front of the state capitol building. Police warned the protesters to leave the park and troopers in riot gear stepped in early Friday morning. A couple dozen people who refused to leave were arrested. A march Saturday led to even more arrests. At the start of the work week, a couple dozen demonstrators remained in Denver’s Civic Center Park, some covered in blankets as colder weather sank in. CPR’s Anna Panoka has been covering the Denver protest, and spoke with several demonstrators about their involvement.
