Film Review: Midnight’s Children

The new movie Midnight’s Children comes from a novel by Salman Rushdie, a Muslim born in Bombay, who also wrote the screenplay. It’s directed by Deepa Mehta, an Indian filmmaker based in Toronto. For Colorado Public Radio film critic Howie Movshovitz those social complexities are just a hint of where the film is going.
