Friday afternoon, CPR Classical host David Rutherford spoke with Alain Boublil, lyricist for the beloved Broadway productions "Les Misérables" and "Miss Saigon."
Boublil discussed his collaboration with composer Claude-Michel Schönberg in writing the music for "Les Misérables," and was joined by vocalist Jennifer Paz and conductor/pianist Dale Rieling for performances of "On My Own" and "I Dreamed a Dream" (made famous in recent years by Susan Boyle).
Boublil's work was highlighted in the Colorado Symphony's pops program, "Do You Hear the People Sing."
