(Photo: Carl Socolow)The Newman Center Presents is still in the latter part of its current season, but they’ve already unveiled their plans for the 2014-15 season.
It’s a bold and eclectic lineup, as Marc Shulgold noted. Here are some of the artists visiting the Newman Center at the University of Denver next season:
- Mandolinist Chris Thile (who spoke with CPR last year about his experiments with Bach’s music) performing with jazz bassist Edgar Meyer on Sept. 23
- The Colorado Symphony performs with violinist Pinchas Zukerman on Nov. 16.
- Modern classical ensemble Alarm Will Sound collaborates with jazz ensemble Medeski Martin & Wood on Feb. 5, 2015.
- Grammy-winning vocal group Roomful of Teeth perform with members of the Colorado Symphony on March 6, 2015.
See more on the upcoming season.
