Colorado Spotlight this week: Cantabile, Sphere Ensemble and more

Here's what's on tap for the week of May 5.  


A look at composer and clarinetist Derek Bermel, who appears with the Colorado Chamber Players this weekend. 


The Arapahoe Philharmonic performs highlights from Bizet's "Carmen" on Friday. 


Cantabile performs Mozart's C minor Mass this weekend. We'll hear them perform "Flos campi" by Ralph Vaughan Williams.


Lindsay Deutsch plays the Brahms Violin Concerto this weekend with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra. We hear an earlier performance of Deutsch and the orchestra playing Antonio Vivaldi's  Concerto No. 2 in G minor ("Summer") from "The Four Seasons."


Sphere Ensemble performs Sunday. We hear an earlier performance of Edward Elgar's Serenade in E minor.
