We Like Monsters at OpenAir

(Photo: courtesy of the artist)Denver group We Like Monsters took root in the local scene as a collaboration between vocalist Timothy White and guitarist Joe Crowley, who began writing songs together at age 15. Over time, the band has expanded into an electro-rock four piece crafting groovy singles like "Le Tigre" and "Bad Dreams."

The band played three songs, including those two, when it stopped into the CPR Performance Studio earlier this month prior to the Underground Music Showcase. Scott Carney chatted with Timothy and Joe about the history of the band, writing computer music, and previous experiences at UMS.
